HITCH: Choose one.
At the heart of the trailer is the easy to use hitch. Easily disconnect and reconnect the trailer. Our hitch is designed so that you can replace components with off the shelf products easily by bringing it to a local hardware shop and ordering a lost or worn piece. The components are high quality stainless, and painted or zinc plated steel.
If you have a non-standard rear triangle, you may need to send us a picture for us to create a compatible hitch plate.

Standard Hitch, for the Standard Bike
Checklist:
The hitch plate that fits the axle of your bike has a 3/8" dropout (very standard). Make sure your axle is 3/8" in diameter.
The hitch plate is 3/16" thick, so make sure you have 3/16" of space available on your axle between the rear triangle and your hub.
The hitch stabilizer rod circles the bottom bar of your bike's rear triangle, so think of padding this with some cloth tape in case of contact.
